Keags turns 1!!

My best friend Jen's little baby boy turned one a couple of days ago and to celebrate she had an awesome beach themed party. She did an incredible job and I had to take tons of photos (especially of that precious not-so-baby boy). I'll try to keep the pictures to a minimum!

bridal shower planning

 This past weekend seems kind of like a blur- it went by way to fast. 

Friday was teacher planning day. It was a slow day without the kidos, but I got a lot done. Then I had dinner with my lovely sister. 

Saturday my friend (and partner at work) and I ordered tickets to the Justin Timerblake and Jay-Z concert!!! So excited. Only 4 months!!

Sunday Sarah, Jen, Keags, and Dawn and I met up to plan some things for our friend Erica's wedding shower. Things are starting to come together and I'm soooo excited to see the final thing- only 1 month!!

Keagan was busy trying to find cute pinterest ideas and order invites. Luckily he had Sarah to help him type (since you know he's not spelling yet...)

And I stole Sarah's harmonica and decided to entertain the group while we were hard at work.

Don't you wish you had us to plan your bridal events?? 'Cause you know we are a lot of fun. And we actually did get a lot of things planned and done!!

Yup more Keagan pictures! This past weekend we did another short photoshoot of the kid. He's just so adroable.

Last night baby Keagan met puppy Chloe. I think it might be safe to say it was love at first sight for both.

'tis the season

It was a full weekend. A very full weekend. And I still can't believe Thanksgiving is a few days away, and Christmas only right around the corner. 

There is so much to do and so little time, but I am going to try my absolute hardest to take in all of this holiday season and not let it fly away. 

And I already started by taking some Christmas photos for a friend and her family. Now...who else can I rope into getting pictures done by me??

baby shark photography

This past weekend my friend Jen and I headed to the beach. Her son, Keagan was a baby shark for Halloween and so we just had to take photos of the baby shark on the beach.
The whole thing made me re-realize two things: 1- this kid is sooo stinking adorable. 2- i absolutely love photography. I often am hard on myself and my work, but even though I'm not my biggest fan, I do love doing it anyway.
I also have an amazing friend that without even asking me, gave my number to a wedding photographer. I love her for that. That's how much she believes in me (and knows that I would never have the guts to do it myself).
