ReplyDeletetwo years ago i went as mary poppins for halloween. i had a spoon, medicine, giant purse, umbrella... you know.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be entered in your giveaway!
ReplyDeleteA couple of years ago I dressed up as a Geisha! It was so fun! I don't think you are ever too old to play dress up!
I love all the things you have found for the giveaway--so many can just fit right into the purse if I want to write something down (and I often do).
ReplyDeleteThroughout my whole childhood, we had one Halloween costume that I would get to wear--a ladybug (complete with fuzzy antennae).
ReplyDeleteLove this giveaway! So cute Kellie!

Last year I made a hippie costume from thrifted items and a handmade headband from my bother.
ReplyDeleteThen I went to a baby shower on halloween day and we were all supposed to dress up as pregnant women.
So I went as a pregnant hippie!
Best costume I ever wore!
This is a cute giveaway!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite costume was my skeleton kitty costume I used to wear. I had an old skeleton jumpsuit thing, and I had kitty ears, mittens, and a tail. So I went as the cat that always came back (creepy song we sang in elementary school) and I got to stand on the stage and run around in my costume when we sang it too!
ReplyDeleteI also blogged about your giveaway! Here is the link to the post!

The best halloween costume I've seen was my brother-in-law dressing up as Oscar the Grouch. He wore an all green outfit and painted his face and hands green, then he got a large metal trash can and cut the bottom off and then attached suspenders to the can. Viola! Oscar!! Too funny :)

I haven't worn any costume that was too amazing, but one time in high school there was a guy that came to school dressed as Super Sperm. Everyone was stepping on his tail all day
ReplyDeleteI think the best halloween costume Ive ever worn would have to be a pumpkin costume my mom made for me.
ReplyDeleteThat's really great!

My favourite halloween costume that I've worn was a home made skeleton one a few years ago - it turned out super cute! We didn't celebrate Halloween growing up in New Zealand, but in recent years my friends and I have done. It's so much fun!
ReplyDeleteThe best costume I've seen was a big group of guys all dressed up as lobsters! Their costumes were fantastic - but definately not homemade

Thats a shame that our Polish tradition of celebrating the last day of October doesnt involve dressing up and partying, like you Americans do. :( Our tradition is to visit the graveyards and commemorate those who passed away. Its a rather sad and depressing celebration.
I dressed up for Halloween once in my life - last year, when i was studying in Ohio, and i fell totally head over heels in love with Halloween! I dressed up as Lady Gaga - my first Halloween outfit EVER, and i def had a great time! The best!
A group of my friends had very creative outfits: one of them was dressed up as a pirate, the second guy as a shark, the third as the blue deep ocean, next one as a plank and the last guy had to walk the plank and jump into the ocean. They were acting out their little 'scene' of walking the plank all night long and that was hilarious!
Please count me in! omydarlingblog(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteLast year, I was a piece of candy corn for Halloween, in a costume I made. It was pretty awesome!!!

ReplyDeleteWhen I was in 3rd grade, I was a picnic. My mom draped a red and white checked table cloth over me, and we stapled/hot glued 4 place settings on it from my collection of plastic food. Then we glued a trail of plastic ants from the back to front. My favorite costume to date! =]

I just found this blog, and I have a thing for stationaries!
ReplyDeleteThe best Halloween costume I had as a kid... I was in a foul mood for some reason and refused to work on a Halloween costume all week long up until an hour or so before my sisters and I were supposed to go. Out of spite (or maybe humor, I don't remember anymore), and lack of time, I went as *a trash bag.* I got one of those black trash bags, cut a hole for my head and arms, stuck/stapled crumpled pieces of paper and chip bags.
ReplyDeleteSigh. The mind of a child. Go figure.
