Tonight is my halloween party. Can't wait, although I still have SOOOO much left to do. My costume for tonight you ask?? Here's a hint:
Tomorrow is the Florida/Georgia game. This is a huge deal in Jacksonville. No like- it's bigger than Panama City Spring Break. Okay, maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but it's huge! It's an all day tailgating drinking fest and Jacksonvillers gladly welcome it. I've never participated in it before, mainly due to how crowded and out of control it gets, but this year I want to tailgate. We'll see how that ends up.....
I also get a mother-daughter afternoon date tomorrow too. It's been forever since I've had one-on-one time with my mama, so I can't wait.
Then comes Sunday.....For the youth, I'm throwing a Fall Festival themed party for youth group. I've done tons of shopping and planning for it, so suffice to say I'm excited about how it will all turn out. And my costume for this party??? Well, here's a not so subtle hint:

ReplyDeleteI was suppose to be going to New Orleans with my parents for Halloween--but I am spending tonight with them after a party and then early in the morning heading to JACKSONVILLE for the game! too excited! haha So I get to game and shop and then head back into town Sunday morning, haha.. Yay me! Have fun! Tailgating is a blast!

ReplyDeleteIt hasn't felt like Halloween since it's just taking root here. Crazy huh?? Plus, Muslims don't let their kids go trick-or-treating. Two weeks ago this littler girl in my class told me Halloween is the devils birthday...

We're having a mass party called Chill @ The Church tomorrow - it's going to be awesome! There's a game arcade (my brother and our friend is taking care of this Rock Band and some retro games including GameCube lol.)
ReplyDeleteI'm in charge of karaoke so that will be fun :) We've got a disco for the youth group tonight as well - they requested it so we're opening the building and supervising and they are doing food and drink and stuff like that between them and My hubby is playing DJ for the night (karaoke tonight as well! So much fun!)
