one spring and summer trend i will be sad to see go (but let's not lie- i'm still going to pull it outta my closet- even if it is freezing out) is florals. they make me happy. so sorry, call me a fashion victim if you will, but my florals aren't going anywhere just yet.....and neither is this floral eye candy:

2. to finally finish designing and then get my sister tattoo with my beautiful sister. we've been planning to get one for awhile, but couldn't decide on what we wanted exactly. but i think we found the perfect tattoo idea, we just need to finish customizing it for us and then get it!!!! i can't wait. :)

Happy Labor Day loves!!! Hope yours is going well. :) Mine has been spent swimming, grilling out (okay, eating the grilled out food), baking, and hanging out with my wonderful friends- couldn't be better.

day 9 of 30 days of me

day 9- something youre proud of in the past few days

I baked....and didn't burn the house down. For those of you that know my cooking/baking past, you'd know this is an achievement. I once made beignets and on accident set the stove on fire. However, the beignets were still pretty darn awesome.... :)
Of course, the brownies I made from scratch (yup, SCRATCH)--- haven't tried those yet.... ha!

home again, home again

i'm finally home (although I could have stayed a couple more days and would have been completely content....)
i had an awesome vacation with the boy (minus getting sick at the end...stupid colds!)
anywho, i came home to some AMAZING mail..... had to share!

courtney sent me this sweet package last week and i got it on my "dark day". it totally lifted my spirits!!!


then today i saw i got some AWESOME owls in the mail from my sweet friend Tiffany. this cute little owl is on a paper clip and is now my new lovely little bookmark.

well off to unpack and upload vacation pics!!
