halloween guest post (with Amber from Hoot-N-Annie)

First off thank you Kellie for asking me to be apart of your Fall blogging extravaganza! Just like Kellie...Fall is my favorite time of year. There are so many things I love about Fall, but what always comes to mind our the little family traditions that my hubby and I have started since getting married. Every fall we make sure to squeeze in time for:

visiting at least one festival and picking up some pretty flowers for our yard


going to the apple orchard for their delicious apple cider

visiting the pumpkin patch

dress up for Halloween (we were Dorothy and Sophia from The Golden Girls

tackle the giant corn maze after dark!

(** I look like a billy goat in that picture but I assure I did not sprout a goatee...it is the corn! Ha!)

Of course we also love to sit by a fire in our backyard, sip on some warm mulled apple cider, and eat anything pumpkin flavored. It is no wonder I love this time of year.
