Yesterday I had an idea about trying to save money and get crafty for this holiday season! Make ornaments! Okay, not an original or new idea, but still I haven't done it before and while I'll probably end up kicking myself for adding one more thing on my to-do list, I thought this might be fun.
So here are some inspirational ideas to get me (and maybe you) started.
My friend Jessica made this adorable felt ornament a while back. Too stinkin cute, right?
One of my favorite blogs had a diy post on how to make this keychain (or perhaps owl ornament???)
I also happened to stumble upon this website today. So many cute ornaments and ideas! lovelovelove!
And of course, if nothing else....there's always tons of cute etsy shops that sell felt ornaments.
like this one, found here
and this one, found here
and this one too, found here
Oh and if you need some images to use to help with your ornament outline, try this site.
And if you decide you wanna make even more, try joining the ornament swap, hosted by Becky over at Strumpets Crumpets. :)
Hope you enjoy. And if you've already made some or end up making some, please please share. I would LOVE to see what everyone creates.
much love,
kel

That last one with the tree and buttons is AMAZING!
Thanks for the inspiration. :)
Have you considered doing an ornament swap yourself? Could be fun, and it would be a lot less ornaments you would have to make. I'd be happy to lend a hand!
these are very cute! I think i have pictures of mine on my flickr... possibly not though! I have a lot of uploading to do :)
